This weekend's Bonnie Raitt concert is sold out but country music icon Willie Nelson is on the road again and lucky for us he's making at stop in southern Oregon. The legendary singer apprears at the Lithia Motors Amphitheater in Central Point Saturday night. Hear and sing a long with hits that span his six decade career. The show starts at 7:30pm.
Oregon Stage Works travels west this weekend and opens a new musical called "The Tales of Fannie Keenan, Better Known as Dora Hand." Based on a true story this tale follows a young lady, played by Sarah Jane Neslon, on her jounrey of survial in the old west. By day she cares for the sick but by night she is a saloon singer and runs a brothel.
The historic town of Jacksonville dedicates three days to celebrating the arts. Friday through Sunday check out paintings, sculptures, ceramics, jelwlry and photography. Hear live music and for the kids they even have a petting zoo.
Two wineries are doing some holiday celebrating! For a $5 cover you get wine, refreshments, and live music. Agate Ridge Vineyard in eagle point presents local band "Soul Food" Friday night from 6 to 9 pm and Sunday from 12:30 to 2:30. Bill Leonhart plays his seven-string jazz guitar at Roxy Ann Winery in Medford.
Want to pack some more music in on Sunday? Then head to the Rogue Theater in Grants Pass. Sunday night at 8 pm hear blues guitarist and singer Joe Bonamassa. You'll hear songs from his 2008 album called "Live from Nowhere in Particular."
