Ashland police are looking for a man who inappropriately touched a woman on December 29th.

Police say the man was at a restaurant or bar in the downtown district where he followed a woman who was working, and grabbed her backside.

Police say the woman's boyfriend went to go confront the suspect, but was punched in the face and the suspect ran off.

"We definitely want to find out who this man is so we can figure out the correct charges..if there might be more charges involved or not and hopefully prevent him from doing something like this in the future," said Ashland Deputy Chief Warren Hensman.

He says they are looking for a man, believed to be in his early 20's who is about six feet tall. They say he was wearing a red hoodie with blue jeans, and has dirty blond hair.
