CRIME STOPPERS: Guitar worth $700 stolen

MEDFORD, Ore - Police are looking for a guitar, worth $700, that was stolen from Musichead, a music store.

Police say they recieved notification that the store's alarm went off at around 6 a.m. morning on March 11, .but when they showed up minutes later the suspect had already left the scene.

Police say that they have no photos or description of the suspect.

"The suspect probably knew what he was looking for and where it was at in the store. Didn't spend a whole lot of time inside the business," Lt. Kerry Curtis of the Medford Police Department said.

Lt. Curtis told us that stolen music instruments are often sold on Craigslist or traded on the streets for drugs.

The case number is 03-21-17.
