EAGLE POINT, Ore. -- A newly-bought boat was stolen right from a curb in the middle of the night.

Eagle Point resident, Destin Adams, just bought a 19-foot boat as the summer approaches.

He looked and saved for years to buy a 1979 Eldo Craft bass boat.

Then someone stole it on Tuesday, April 25th, between midnight and 5:30 in the morning.

It was parked with a trailer on the curb right outside of his home on Tracy Avenue and Laurel Street.

"Just fish on it all summer long. Pretty much bought it so me and my brothers could go out and fish and then I could take my friends out. You know, go have dates out at the lake. There isn't much to do around here, so it gives us something to do. I love to fish and I wanted to enter tournaments," Adams said.

Fishing gear inside the boat was stolen too.

It's valued at $10,000, including the trailer.

The Oregon license plate is U350823.

This case number is the date 05-02-17.

If you have any information on the boat theft, you can call or text Crime Stoppers at 1-800-850-0580.

Depending on the information given, Rogue Credit Union will pay you up to $1,000 for information leading to an arrest and filing of charges. As always, you can remain anonymous.
