Crime Stoppers (KTVL)

Jackson County Sheriff's Office needs the public’s help in identifying three people who stole more than a $1,000 from a Gold Hill resident by targeting his mailbox.

These three suspects broke into the mailbox of a resident on the 1300 block of Highway 234 and stole a credit card.

They used the card to purchased $1,000 worth of merchandise from Foot Locker, Walmart and Dicks Sporting Goods.

"There could be other people who have been victimized by these people and we just don't know about it. We don't know what other crime or criminal activity we'll discover as we investigate this case as well,” said Nathan Sickler, Jackson County Sheriff.

The credit card fraud happened on March 29th.

Anyone with information on a possible suspect in this crime can call or text Crime Stoppers of Southern Oregon at 1-800-850-0580 and refer to case number KTVL 04-10-18.

Depending on the case and the information is given, Crime Stoppers will pay a reward up to $1,000 for information that leads to the arrest and filing of charges. Callers can remain anonymous. The reward is sponsored by Rogue Credit Union.
