MEDFORD, Ore. -- Medford police officers responded to a report of a residential burglary yesterday(Monday) on Colinwood Lane.

A surveillance camera nearby captured an image of the suspect.

The victim reported an unknown suspect entered her home and stole a large amount of items including jewelry, coins and cash.

The male was in the home for 25 minutes.

The loss is estimated to be over $5,000.

The suspect appears to be an adult white male, between 5'8" and 6' tall, average build and appears to have a receding hairline.

At the time, the suspect had a dark t-shirt with a light-colored logo on the front, dark shorts, dark shoes and a dark backpack.

"We're still trying to determine if this person is somehow known to the victim, or knew the patterns of the victim, so all of that kind of plays a part," Lieutenant Kerry Curtis, with M.P.D., said.

This case number is the date 05-30-17.
