MEDFORD, Ore. -- Surveillance cameras caught the suspect entering the playground area of Kids Unlimited and stealing four soccer goal posts and landscaping cloth from a nearby storage shed.

The unknown male showed up on site at 4:45 in the morning of Sunday, May 7th.

He's wearing a jacket and backpack, holding a skateboard.

Detectives say he broke into the fenced area of the playground and left about 20 minutes after he was seen on camera.

He then returned an hour and a half later to remove the lock and chain on the playground entrance.

"It's not a substantial loss, but Kids Unlimited does do a lot for the community, for kids, and then to have things they use for activities for the kids get stolen, that's discouraging," Lieutenant Kerry Curtis, with Medford Police, said.

Detectives say he also stole one chain and three locks from the perimeter fence.

This case number is the date 05-16-17.
