CRIME STOPPERS: Talent tires slashed

TALENT, Ore. -- In this week's Crime Stoppers, Talent police are out to find someone who slashed several tires last week.

Detectives said someone slashed tires on multiple cars on Rogue River Parkway, only about one block down from the station.

They found more than four cars with slashed tires around 8 a.m. on Thursday morning.

Talent police chief, Curtis Whipple, said there is a witness to this crime and believes multiple people may be responsible.

"As always, if you see something, hear something, give the police a call. We're a call away and we're always happy to go check the area. This is an absolute isolated-incident. I've been the chief here for about nine months now and this is the first time we've had any type of tire slashing here in Talent," Chief Whipple said.

The estimated cost of damage is about $2,000.

The case number is 01-17-17.

If you have any information on possible suspects in this tire slashing crime, you can call or text Crime Stoppers at 1-800-850-0580.
