CRIME STOPPERS: Two suspects break into vehicle

Crime Stoppers (Medford Police)

Medford Police are looking for two suspects who broke into a car in broad daylight.

Police say the vehicle was parked at a local business.

The male suspect shattered the rear passenger window and stole the victim's purse.

Surveillance video shows a woman was with the man who committed the crime.

The suspects were driving a red mid-size sedan with tinted windows and a sunroof.

"The big thing that's associated with purses and wallets being stolen is identity theft and that's usually the next step," said Medford Police Lt. Justin Ivens.

Police say the male suspect is in his 30's with a receding hairline. He was wearing a gray hooded sweater with a gold chain around his neck and black pants.

The female suspect was also wearing a grey hooded sweater with purple or multi-colored leggings.

If you have any information on their whereabouts, please call, or text Crime Stoppers of Southern Oregon at 1-800-850-0580 and refer to case number KTVL 03-13-18.

Depending on the case and the information is given, Crime Stoppers will pay a reward up to $1,000 for information that leads to the arrest and filing of charges. Callers can remain anonymous. The reward is sponsored by Rogue Credit Union.
