CRIMESTOPPERS: Eagle Point Golf Course thief

Eagle Point, Ore. - Eagle Point Police need your help identifying and finding a man who stole around $10,000 worth of golf clubs from the Eagle Point Golf Course pro shop.

Police chief Vern Thompson says dispatch received a call saying an alarm was going off at the pro shop. Officers arrived within four minutes to find a window broken by a large rock. The thief had taken 15-20 clubs with him.

So far, police believe this was a crime of opportunity.

Surveillance video shows the suspect getting away in a small silver-colored vehicle. At the time of the burglary on Sunday night, the suspect was wearing a NorthFace or Columbia jacket with sweatpants with vertical reflective stripes.
