CRIMESTOPPERS: Sheriff Dept. needs your help finding missing woman
Shady Cove, Ore.- Jackson County Sheriff's Office are trying to find missing mother Malina Nickel.
She's 5 feet two inches, one hundred and 5 pounds and 29 years old.
She was last seen sleeping at her home between 12 p.m. and 3 p.m. on November 23rd.
Police have said this case has been frustrating.
"It's super hard for me to believe with Shady Cove being such a small town, that we haven't been able to locate her yet. I think that's one of the frustrating things, is the fact that it's been pretty quiet. We've talked to several people, we've interviewed several people, and nobody seems to really know anything. Like I said, we've had our stories, and we've had our rumors of things people believed happened, but nothing's panned out. We've searched areas with cadaver dogs that we were told she was at. We've searched ponds... I've actually interviewed people multiple times on names that have come up continually during the investigation," said Sgt. Scott Waldon of the Jackson County Sheriff Department.
Police are reaching out to the public for help finding Malina Nickel.
"I know that somebody knows something, because she's missing. I want to stress to those people that everyday that they don't come forward, this family, Malina's children, suffer. They need to come forward with the information that they have. Like I said, they can be completely anonymous, they can go get a track phone, they can call from a payphone, whatever they feel they need to do, but all we need is this information," said Waldon.
Jackson County Sheriff's Department say that they have no hard evidence of foul play but say the circumstances surrounding her disappearance are odd.
Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Malina Nickel can call or text Crimestoppers at 1-800-850-0580 and reference case 07-11-17.
