Addictions Recovery Center celebrates expansion of services
MEDFORD -- The Addictions Recovery Center celebrated a year of expanding services in Medford on Friday.
ARC staff said there is still limited capacity to serve the needs in the community. Medford has seen a rise in opioid and prescription medicine use, as well as continuing demand for alcohol abuse. The recovery center is now the only center in the Valley to pair mental health with addiction services.
"We will continue to make changes in our program and growth in our services based on the needs we see for people coming in. Which is why we're including mental health in our services," Christine Mason said.
Oregon is 47th in the country for addiction recovery services.
