City council member says no to Gov. Brown's veto

Governor Kate Brown has plans to veto a house bill that would eliminate $1 million dollars of funding to revitalize Medford's historic Holly Theatre.

Earlier today Medford city councilor member Kevin Stine wrote Governor Brown, requesting that she reconsider her recent change.

The loss of these funds would delay the project that has been supported by thousands in Medford.

The revitalization project would bring an economic boom to Medford's downtown area, bringing an estimated $3 million dollars and provide 90 full time jobs.

Stine said, "go online, send an email to governor brown, call her office and tell her that, to not to veto the Holly Theatre. that this is a great project for southern Oregon. its a great project for Medford our downtown."
