ODF Lines Birdseye Creek Fire
ROGUE RIVER, Ore. —
Oregon Department of Forestry firefighters responded to an estimated 5-8 acre wildfire off Birdseye Creek Road in Rogue River on Thursday night.
According to ODF, no structures were threatened and the actual ground mapping finished at 3 acres.
Multiple ground resources along with one large air tanker, two helicopters and an air attack platform worked on knocking down and containing the fire.
As of 11 p.m. Thursday, crews have wet lined the fire and are working on constructing a hand line.
