Family members of woman killed in motorcycle crash speak out

(KTVL/Sarina Sandoval)

Family members of one of the motorcycle passengers killed on May 19th are mourning the loss of a mother, grandmother and friend.

Catherine Hock, 54 or "Cat" to her friends leaves behind her children: Cody, Gary, Heidi, and 5 grandchildren.

Cody and Heidi say their mom loved helping people, was really fun and loved to make people laugh.

They say she never owned a motorcycle, but it was not something new to their mom and 60-year-old Daniel Foster, who also died that night.

Family members say Cat and Dan were a couple.

Heidi says her mom was always doing something adventurous and can't believe she is gone.

"What's difficult and confusing about this is we just kind of feel like she's going to pop up somewhere and she's just not going to come back," Heidi said.

They family has set up a GoFundME account if you would like to donate you can click here.

Friends will be hosting a benefit to support both Catherine Hock and Daniel Foster at Lucky II in Shady Cove on June 23 at 2:00 p.m.

If any business would like to donate items to be auctioned off at the event, you can contact Lynda Turnbull at 541-301-3781.
