FBI offers $10K reward for arrest of suspect in child sex trafficking case from Portland
PORTLAND, Ore. (KATU) – The FBI is offering a $10,000 reward for information on a man wanted in a child sex trafficking case.
According to investigators, Kamau Kambui Leland Curnal and Aaron Barnes drove an underage girl from Portland to Seattle as part of a sex trafficking operation. A grand jury charged both men with sex trafficking of a child and transportation of a minor with the purpose of prostitution.
Barnes was arrested in Nebraska last November, however, Curnal is still on the loose.
Officials said 28-year-old Curnal should be considered armed and dangerous.
He is believed to have extensive ties to the Seattle area.
The FBI is offering up to a $10,000 reward for any information that can lead to Curnal’s arrest and conviction.
