Highway 62 construction is one third of the way complete
MEDFORD, Ore. - ODOT’s $120 million Highway 62 express project is about one third of the way complete.
The work on the south end near Delta Waters Road should open up by the end of the year.
The entire express way is expected to be done late next year or early 2019.
ODOT says these projects take time because of all the adjustments that need to be made.
"There was also a lot of underground utility work that people don't see. For instance, a sewer main had to be relocated. There's a lot of preparatory work in those early stages that people just don't see," said Gary Leaming.
Headway will be made this week as contractors plan on placing bark on the south side near Hubbard’s.
