Man arrested for multiple thefts in N. California
YREKA, CA. —
Deputies arrested a suspect for multiple thefts in Northern California on Saturday.
The suspect 37-year-old Anthony McIntire of Redding did a smash and grab type theft at the Black Bear Dinner parking lot in Mount Shasta California.
Around 7:40 a.m. California Highway Patrol was told to be on the lookout for the suspect after he was spotted driving northbound on US 97 in the Grass Lake Area.
The officers initiated a traffic stop where they found McIntire with a suspended license and two backpacks covered in glass stolen from the Black Bear Dinner.
A further investigation revealed that the car had been stolen from a landscaping company in Redding. The car was not previously reported stolen at the time of the investigation.
Other items located were stolen from various places from Redding to Mt. Shasta, including Mount Shasta's Park and Recreation Department.
No other information is available at this time.
