Medford, Ore. - On Tuesday evening, the Black Bear Diner in Medford had one of its nearly 6 ft. tall bears stolen before the sun went down.

Unfortunately, the diner does not know who stole the bear, but workers are surprised it happened considering the bear was bolted to the cement and weighs hundreds of pounds.

Diner workers say they've had security cameras stolen in the past, but never one of its mascots.

They believe it was some sort of dare to steal the bear.
