Miller Complex Fire: 34,535 acres burned and 40% contained
Fire crews are securing containment lines on the Creedence, Bigelow, and Burnt Peak fires.
Crews working the Abney fire will continue to build, improve, and maintain containment lines to the north, east, and northwest of the fire.
Weather conditions are expected to be cool and sunny with light winds coming later this evening.
A dry cold front is moving into the region and crews can expect cooler temperatures in the next coming days.
Creedence and Bigelow Fires
Fire activity has been low the past couple of days. The interior of the fire will continue to smoke for a while. This is because of the of the dense fuels. Crews will continue to work on mop-up and monitor the line on the north side of the fire.
Burnt Peak Fire
The fire in this area has burned 4,147 acres.
The fire has not grown in several days, but residents may continue to see smoke and smoldering inside the fire interior. Crews will continue to monitor and patrol the fire perimeter.
The Joe Bar are which is located in California near the north edge of the Abney Fire, is still under an evacuation warning. All other evacuations have been lifted.
