MEDFORD -- Protesters gathered outside of the Medford Police station to speak to Governor Brown on Monday.

This was in response to the passing of House Bill 3391, which expands access to reproductive care. The bill requires insurers to provide birth control and abortion without charging a co-pay.

"We don't buy into the abortion nonsense at all. Abortion is not healthcare, abortion is not liberating for women. Abortion ends up with a wounded mom and a dead baby and we oppose that," said Bryan Platt with Jackson County Right to Life.

A couple dozen people protested Monday afternoon, saying they appreciate the opportunity to voice their concerns while the governor is in town.
