Rollover Leaves One Dead on Jerome Prairie Road

The driver, 45-year-old David Anthony Romero of Grants Pass, was the driver of the vehicle and was pronounced dead upon arrival.

The passenger, 46-year-old Scott Taylor also of Grants Pass was transported to Three Rivers Medical Center for non-life threatening injuries.

Speed and possible alcohol are suspected to be contributing factors to the crash.

Emergency personnel responded to a rollover accident around 9:30 p.m. at the corner of Helms Road and Jerome Prairie Road in Wilderville on Wednesday evening.

One person died as a result of the accident and another was taken to Three Rivers Hospital.

Rural Metro Fire Department and Oregon State Police responded to the incident scene.
