Sheriff warn of "prank calls" in the Klamath area
The Klamath County Sheriff’s Office is warning the public about a recent wave of “spoof” calls in the area.
Deputies say the caller masquerading as the sheriff’s office with their number appearing on the caller ID.
The sheriff’s office says the calls have been reported as “pranks” and cautions citizens not to disclose any personal or financial over the phone.
