Terri Horman arrested in California for driving a stolen car
BELVEDERE, Cal. -- Terri Horman, now known as Terri Moulton, was arrested Friday afternoon outside San Francisco for driving a stolen car.
She was booked into the Marion County Jail and charged with taking a vehicle without the owner's consent.
She was arrested and booked without incident. She posted $25,000 bail and is scheduled to appear in Marin County Superior Court on January 10, 2017 at 8:30 a.m., according to Belvedere Police Chief Tricia Seyler.
Moulton was also arrested last summer in California, when she was accused of stealing a handgun.
She is the former stepmom of Kyron Horman, a Portland boy who disappeared more than 6 years ago. She was the last person to see 7-year-old Kyron on June 4, 2010 at Skyline Elementary School in Northwest Portland. Kyron was at a pre-class science fair, where he was photographed, but then disappeared.
After learning about the arrest, Kyron's mother Desiree Young told KTVL's sister station, KATU, "This makes me optimistic that this year will be a better year for Kyron. Terri's luck is running out and we will catch up to her. I hope we can charge her soon for Kyron."
Terri Moulton has never been named a suspect in the disappearance of Kyron.
