Multi-generation gang fight

PHOENIX, Ore. - Phoenix Police are investigating a gang fight that happened on Independence Circle.
Police say some teen members of the Sureno and Nortenos gangs challenged each other to a fight.
It wasn't just the kids fighting, police say it was a multi-generation gang fight where parents also got involved.
In fact, one teen's father was arrested for hitting another's aunt with a shovel and stabbing her with a screwdriver. That man, Jose Regalado-Gonzalez was arrested on several charges including assault, disorderly conduct and giving false information to police.
"These kids are claiming to be these gang members, the parents also have or have had ties with these gangs," Sgt. Jeff Price said. "Whenever there's something happening, especially on their block, you know they're going to come out and get involved."
"The parents of the two kids that came from outside the city, they came here to fight, were actually driven here by the parents," he said.
Price says three teens may also face charges but one of those kids is missing. He says Phoenix Police are working on getting a warrant.
