EAGLE POINT, Ore. -- Nearly 2,000 people in the Eagle Point area woke up without power Monday morning.
Pacific Power says about 1,900 customers were without power. Monte Mendenhall says a line went down near the station off Stevens Road.
With rain and wind in the forecast, Mendenhall says they are expecting more outages.
"We tend to get a lot of phone calls when service goes out to customers," Mendenhall said. "The weather hasn't been all that kind to us, and we're expecting more wind in the forecast. With the ground being saturated we tend to have some more trouble with trees."
By 9 a.m. Mendenhall says they power was back on for 1,000 customers.
The company is still investigating the cause of the outage.
