Of the three people shot by a gunman at a crowded Oregon shopping mall, only one survived -- a 15-year-old girl whose family said was recovering after the bullet missed major organs.
Two people were killed in the shooting Tuesday - 54-year-old Cindy Ann Yuille, who was described as "everybody's friend" and 45-year-old Steven Mathew Forsyth, a father of two.
Family says Forsyth was a loving husband, business owner and a youth sports coach. Yuille's family says Cindy was a caring person.
Authorities say 22-year-old Jacob Tyler Roberts went on a shooting rampage inside the mall before killing himself. There's no indication Roberts knew the victims.
The family of 15-year-old Kristina Shevchenko says the girl is recovering. It was her second brush with death this year. In August, a man veered his car into the opposite lane and crashed head-on into a van carrying Shevchenko and relatives.
