JACKSONVILLE, Ore.-With winter weather here, some Jacksonville residents have to make adjustments to their daily routines to stay safe.
A light dusting of snow fell over Jacksonville Friday morning.
Some Jacksonville residents say--while the snow interrupts their day--they still enjoy it.
Leona Sewitsky of Jacksonville says, "Oh no, I never get tired of it. I have a driveway about this steep [...] we have to park at the very bottom and then walk up."
Another Jacksonville resident, Barbara Lord says, "I like it, just don't like ice [...] after the snow melts and it freezes."
Sewitsky says, in her small car, adding sandbags in the back makes for easier driving in winter conditions.
She encourages others to enjoy the snow, before it all melts.
Lord has lived in the area her whole life and says the best thing for safe driving in winter, is a good set of tires.
