CENTRAL POINT, Ore. -- Sustainable energy and practices have become the foundation for Rogue Creamery.
The famous creamery partners with a certified sustainable dairy called Brink Dairy Farms in Grants Pass.
"What this means is that the dairy uses sustainable feeds, practices and heard management," said Liam Wustenberg, the creamery's quality assurance manager. "Here at the creamery we just installed solar panels, which makes our creamery 45 percent solar powered."
Rogue Creamery also uses sustainable labor practices, which provides it's employees livable wages and a clean and healthy environment to work in.
"Our creamery is one of the only dairy and creamery partnerships that are sustainably certified," store manager Tom Van Voorhees said.
Rogue Creamery is locally owned with over 100 fine cheeses from around the world, including it's award winning blue cheeses.
For Monday only, Rogue Creamery is offering a 10 percent discount by mentioning News10.
