Central Point, Ore.-The owner of The Willows said a decrease in business inspired her to create a more affordable option for couples.
The Willows owner, Sandra Dowling, along with other wedding vendors, showed off what they have to offer last weekend at the Southern Oregon Wedding Show in the Medford Armory.
Dowling said business has declined in recent years, inspiring her to create an opportunity for some brides to have their dream weddings, at a lower price and for her to bring a boost to her business. "Our wedding business has recently dropped off in the last year or so, so we decided to make the dream wedding affordable for every bride and there is one caveat, and that's that you have to have your wedding on a weekday."
Dowling said she has created packages with several vendors willing to lower their prices on weekdays, saving couples $4,000-$10,000.

The Ultimate Bridal Show is being held at the Jackson County Fair Grounds this weekend. The show will be open Friday 4 p.m.-9 p.m. and Saturday 10 a.m.-5 p.m.
Admission is $2 per person.
There will be a money grab, during which one bride is chosen every hour to grab as much cash as she can, for a limited amount of time.
