MEDFORD, Ore.-Medford Police Department said a shooting Wednesday morning could be gang-related, but cannot confirm this until the suspects and victims are identified.
The shooting near the corner of West Main St. and Summit Ave. is still under investigation.
Police said two white males in a maroon Jeep Cherokee driving on W. Main St. shot at a man walking by. The man ran off and a bullet made it through a nearby home's window.
Medford Police said they want to talk to the man who was shot at, to find the suspects and determine if the shooting was gang-affiliated. "For whatever reason, this victim does not want to come forward and we don't know what that reason is, but based on what we know, he is purely a victim. Maybe he had done something unlawful at one time. We really don't care about that. All we care about is what happened," said Lt. Mike Budreau with Medford Police.
The Jeep was last seen headed south on Washington Ave.
The man with the bullet through his window told News 10 he saw nothing.
Anyone with any information on this shooting, is asked to contact Medford Police Department.
