Generals Offer Free Football Camp for Kids
GRANTS PASS, Ore. —
The Grants Pass Generals Football is excited to announce its free kids camp at 10:00 a.m. until Noon on Saturday, April 7 at Grants Pass High School.
The one-day free football camp will include age and skill appropriate training, weight lifting and strength training instruction and more. Players from 3rd to 8th grade, will work with coaches and collegiate level players to build and improve skills.
“I originally wanted to provide an opportunity to four and five star camps for kids who couldn’t otherwise participate,” said Jameson Davis, Owner, Grants Pass Generals Football. “I am inspired by way the program has grown and now so many people have gotten involved because they love the heart of the camp and positivity of the day. It is amazing."
The Grants Pass Generals team members will be participating as coaches and mentors on that day. The camp will offer all the same qualities as camps across the state.
“I want to provide the same experience that kids would have at those camps,” continued Davis. “I was able to go to those camps because I was lucky enough to have sponsors, I want all kids in our area to have this experience.”
To see the camp in action please visit The Generals Kids Camp for a 2-minute video. All participants will also receive a shirt and free admission to the first home game of the Grants Pass Generals 2017 season that night at 6:00 p.m.
