Raiders Stomp Saints, 35-14

The Raiders are 4-0 for the sixth time in team history going into another Frontier Conference home game next Saturday against Rocky Mountain (Mont.).

Southern Oregon University Football flexed their muscles in the first half on Saturday and never looked back with a 35-14 win over Carroll College in Ashland.

The Raiders improve to 4-0 under first year Head Coach Charlie Hall.

Hall is just the second coach in Raider football history to start the season with four straight wins.

Southern Oregon did all of its scoring on 408 yards of offense in the first half, cruising comfortably to a 35-14 win over Carroll (Mont.) Saturday afternoon in front of 3,818 fans at Raider Stadium.

Playing at home for the first time this season, the 13th-ranked Raiders went ahead on Rey Vega's 50-yard touchdown run 23 seconds into the game. Three minutes into the game, it was 14-0 after Tanner Trosin's 33-yard scoring strike to Jason Shelley.

By halftime, it was already 35-0.

Trosin completed 20 of 32 passes for 333 yards, going over the 300 mark for his sixth straight start. Jordan Suell caught five passes for 123 yards, including a 64-yard TD bomb in the second quarter.

Isiah Carter was responsible for three of their seven sacks.
