Libby Dowsett is an Oregonian at heart. She has lived and worked all around the state, but now calls Southern Oregon home. She and her family have lived in Medford since 1998.

Libby graduated from Forest Grove High School outside Portland and moved to Eugene to major in Journalism at the University of Oregon. After her college graduation, she moved to Klamath Falls and then Medford to work for KOBI-TV.

The next stop on the ride was KRNV in Reno, Nevada. It was during this time she became engaged and moved back to Medford to get married. She began anchoring the news at Channel 10 in 1999.

You may have noticed she disappeared from set for a couple years. Libby took time-off for mommy time in June of 2008. You can now watch her on her new family-friendly shiftNews Ten at Noon.

Libbys interests include traveling, skiing, dancing, Zumba, cooking, shopping and walking her dog in the beautiful hills of Medford and Ashland. She is always looking for the next great story, so please email her all your great ideas (especially extra-ordinary stories about ordinary people!)
