Crime Stoppers: Sheriff's office looking for home burglar

Jackson County Sheriff's Office detectives are trying to track down suspect Marvin Frank Long Jr. for a home burglary that happened on April 4 on the 13000 block of Agate Road.

Long is associated with the Eagle Point and Trail areas.

Long drives a 2004 green Nissan X-Terra with Oregon license plates.

"There were a lot of items taken from the property and the total value is well over $20,000. There was quite a bit of fly fishing gear, there were two different trailers and some miscellaneous power tools," said Sargent Julie Denney.

Due to what was taken, it is unknown if Long acted alone or if this happened over a couple of days.

The investigation is ongoing.

Anyone with information on the suspect in this crime can call or text Crime Stoppers of Southern Oregon at 1-800-850-0580 and refer to case number KTVL 06-19-18.

Depending on the case and the information is given, Crime Stoppers will pay a reward up to $1,000 for information that leads to the arrest and filing of charges. Callers can remain anonymous. The reward is sponsored by Rogue Credit Union.
