A local small business has been hit with multiple burglaries within a short time.

Police are looking for the man or men who did it.

The two burglaries happened early in the morning on October 18th, and December 18th at Juan's El Coporal Mexican Restaurant.

The suspect slit through the restaurants windows and entered it. During the first burglary, the thief stole a safe containing cash and documents. The second time a thief took cash, a tool, and a laptop computer.

The restaurant has lost thousands of dollars during the two burglaries.

Police believe in both cases an individual acted alone. Police are not sure if it was the same person involved in both burglaries.

"It quite possibly could be the same suspect in both burglaries. A lot of the time in cases like this, it's information that we get from somebody who knows something. They're able to come forward and give us the information we need to solve the case," said Sgt. Julie Denney of Jackson County Sheriff's Office.

In one of the burglaries there was a white pick-up truck seen driving through the parking lot at the time of the burglaries, but sheriff's are unsure if it was related to the burglary.

During the second burglary, the thief had a hat and what appeared to be a camouflage hooded sweatshirt.
