Jewelry store burglary
Ashland, Ore. —
An Ashland coin and jewelry store was burglarized last weekend.
The suspect entered the business by force, triggering the alarm, which notified Ashland Police. The police arrived on scene shortly but the suspect managed to escape.
He was captured by video surveillance wearing an orange hooded sweat shirt and an orange bandanna around his face.
The suspect in question managed to remove several items from the premises, for which the police have yet to figure out a monetary value.
According to Ashland Police Chief Tighe O’Meara the suspect in question is a man, standing between five feet, eight inches to six feet tall.
"The person is wearing a bandanna it seems an orange bandanna and an orange sweat shirt it seems to be a heavy-set male subject beyond that it doesn’t really show that much but it might be enough for somebody to recognize this person and send us in the right direction," O’Meara said.

Depending on the case and the information is given, Crime Stoppers will pay a reward up to $1,000 for information that leads to the arrest and filing of charges. Callers can remain anonymous. The reward is sponsored by Rogue Credit Union.
