On Wednesday, on March 13th, 2019, the Medford Police Department opened an investigation into a burglary, car theft, and car break-in - all which occurred in the 1200 block of North Riverside.

In addition to the stolen car, and other valuables, the suspects stole a handgun which was used in an Attempted Murder case the next day. Police arrested the suspect in that case, but do not believe he is involved in the original theft.

Surveillance video captured the vehicle, as well as the suspects, committing the original theft. Authorities are confident the vehicle is a black 2016-17 Ford F150, based on the specific grill and body style. Two suspects are seen on video and one can be described as a black male adult. The other suspect had his face covered.

On Monday, March 18th, the stolen vehicle was sold to a female at a local motel, who described the suspects as two black male adults - one being closer to 50 years old and thin, and the other being younger with a medium build. They were driving the exact vehicle seen in the surveillance video.
