Subway burglary

Surveillance video from a Subway sandwich-shop captured one of the first crimes of the new year.

At approximately 1:13 A.M. on New Year’s Day, surveillance video from the White City Subway shop captured a man taking an electronic tablet, cash and food from the restaurant.

The suspect's face was able to evade all cameras in place but he does appear to have a rectangular shaped tattoo on his left hand.

"We're hoping someone would recognize him from the surveillance video even if they can’t see the face maybe they recognize the clothing maybe they recognize the mannerisms the way this person walks and they are able to let us know who it is." Sergeant Denney with the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office said.

The crime was discovered the following morning when employees noticed an opened door, no signs of forced entry and the missing items.

Due to the poor video quality and the fact that the person in question evaded surveillance cameras, there are no accurate descriptors. The video shows a male of average built with a short facial stubble.

He also appears to be wearing an orange and gray jacket with dark-colored hoodie and camouflage pants. He was also wearing a black baseball cap with a logo.
