The optic bandit
Medford, Ore. —
Upon opening shop a Claire-Horn Eye Care employee noticed the Ray-Ban and Oakley sun glass display cases were emptied out.
The sum of the missing designer glasses added up to more than $10,000.00.
Medford Police was called to the scene and immediately located signs of a burglary.
The optical retail store is in the middle of a large shopping center with surveillance cameras spread throughout the area and the Medford Police Department has begun the investigation.
"The investigation is continuing we're checking the area for video surveillance and doing all that but we're looking for that person that stumbles across someone that might have a bunch of sunglasses or a deal that is too good to be true and provide that
name for us so we can make an arrest on this case," Said Lieutenant Justin Ivens of the Medford Police Department.
