Wanted felon for possession of a firearm
Medford, Ore. —
Medford Police responded to a, "shots fired" call along the 3800 block of the Craterlake Highway on October 27, 2018.
The officer on scene soon located a man and woman sitting inside a car near an empty field, when approaching the car, the suspect by the name of Daniel Beintker exited the car voluntarily and interacted with the officer.
The officer noticed empty shell casings along the floor of the car and asked Beintker about them, Beintker claimed he had no knowledge about the casings or about shots being fired in the area.
Beintker went on to deny officer permission to search the vehicle.
The officer then impounded the vehicle and submitted a request for a search warrant.
The search warrant allowed police to identify the shell casings and discovered deadly weapons in the vehicle.
Beintker is wanted for possession of a nine-millimeter fire arm as well as various illegal knives.
Beintker has had the right to a fire arm suspended as he is a convicted felon.
Daniel Beintker is described as a white male adult who is five feet seven inches tall, weighs 150 pounds and has brown hair and blue eyes.
