WHITE CITY, Ore.-- Saturday kicked off the 19th annual Rogue Valley Veterans Powwow. Many came to the event to show honor and respect to veterans.

It brought guests from all over the state--some as far as McMinnville.

"We're safe, we're free and we're able to do all of this stuff because the veterans were able to be out there," James Prevatt with the Rogue Valley Veterans Powwow said.

There was music, dancing and many vendors at the event.

If you missed it, it will be going on again on Sunday at the Southern Oregon Rehabilitation Center and Clinics in White City.
