5.3-magnitude earthquake recorded off Oregon coast

BANDON, Ore. - Seismometers recorded a 5.3-magnitude earthquake about 150 miles off the coast of Oregon on Wednesday morning.

The quake shook at 8 a.m., a little over 152 miles west-northwest of Bandon, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The earthquake had a depth of more than 8.5 miles.
