Another round of power outages in West Medford
Pacific Power is currently responding and investigating a cluster of outages in West Medford and surrounding neighborhoods.
A vehicle ran into a utility pole on Rossanley Drive with live lines on the highway before 5:00 PM Friday.
News 10 employees witnessed the effects of the power outage that occurred right outside of the News 10 station's building. The vehicle took out the pole and the lights flickered in the station. The man operating the vehicle has no reported injuries.
Rossanley Drive is shutdown from Cheshire Way and Ross Ln.
Pacific Power says more than 9,000 customers are without power when the truck hit the power pole just before 5 p.m. Friday.
Drew Hanson, spokesperson for Pacific Power, tells News 10 crews are working to get the issue resolved.
“Our crews are working to get the power up as safely and quickly as possible,” Hanson said.
Estimates on when power will be restored are not known at this time.
