Grants Pass, Ore. - Residents gathered along H Street in downtown Grants Pass for another year of Art Along the Rogue as businesses, students and children drew pictures in chalk along the road.

Kids who had the opportunity to draw in mask tape boxes in the roadway took the opportunity to draw sunsets or leave a message of positivity - like 10-year-old Presley Maldonado.

Maldonado took some quotes from her favorite book, Wonder by Raquel J. Palacio, and wrote them in chalk on the blacktop.

"It says 'if you have to choose between being right and being kind, choose kind,'" Maldonado said. "It's what you should do and it's true."

Art Along the Rogue continues Sunday.
