The Ashland School District and the Ashland Education Association have reached a tentative agreement on a new three year contract.

If it gets approved, it will go into affect next year.

All licensed employee salaries will be increasing by 2-percent in the first year and a 2.75 percent in years two and three.

"I think everyone is pleased with the outcome. We had a very collaborative process. We do interest based bargaining with our teachers," Ashland Superintendent, Kelly Raymond, said.

Another highlight in the contract, internal mentoring stipend for teachers and Martin Luther King Day will be a pay day.

The tentative agreement will go through approval July 9.
