All of Avista Utilities natural gas customers in Ashland affected by this week's outage may have to wait a little longer to get service stored.

As of Saturday at 3:00 p.m., Avista announced they've completed first attempts of relights in the natural gas outage, which first began on Thursday, March 19th. According to a press release, about 600 customers have not been restored due to Avista or other designated contractors' inability to gain access to complete the relight service.

That work may take until Monday, six days since the initial outage that affected an estimated 4,800 customers, according to Avista.
