Students at Kennedy Elementary School learned about healthier food choices on Tuesday.

Five different booths set up at the school that included: a certified dietitian, a farmer, the Oregon Agriculture Department, food hero from Oregon State University, and The Dairy Princess.

They talked to students about where milk comes from, the harmful effects of sugar, and showed them what produce looks like before its processed.

Kennedy Elementary School was one of five stops for the annual event that takes place within five different school districts in partnership with SODEXO.
