Search crews are looking for a missing Medford man in Sky Lakes Wilderness Area.

According to Klamath County Sheriff's Office, 63-year-old Stephen Ivey was reported missing by his wife on Sunday after he failed to return to their meeting point as planned.

Ivey's wife told deputies that the two had hiked in together but had opted to take separate routes back to their car.

Klamath County Search and Rescue looked Sunday evening for Ivey. On Monday a K-9 unit, horseback team, and a helicopter joined the search.

Ivey was last seen wearing green hiking shorts, shirt, and cap.

Sheriffs believe Ivey may still be in the Sky Lakes Wilderness Area which has minimal trails and no roads.
