CENTRAL POINT, Ore.-- Dogs for the Deaf got a special gift.

Southern Oregon Landscape Association is installing a paver walking for the non-profit, all pro bono. The project would have cost around $4,000.

Dogs for the Deaf said the gift makes the memorial garden area safe, versus the uneven ground it had before.

"Oh, like I said, it's a wonderful gift that they're doing on our behalf," Annette Vitello with the non-profit said. "We've had days and days of rain and the first sunny day that they can get out and be working for their own businesses, they're out here volunteering for us and putting this pathway in."

Dogs for the Deaf said it is very grateful to the Southern Oregon Landscape Association, and said if it were not for them, the non-profit would not be able to afford this need.
